  • Deputy Executive Director

    The Deputy Executive Director will manage the strategic projects of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. by serving as the liaison to the volunteer positions (officers and committee chairs). This role will report directly to the International Grand Basileus (National President) of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. This role will ensure implementation and execution of system enhancements, committee initiatives, sorority actions, management reporting, and volunteer management through his/her managerial oversight of data entry, finance, and administrative role(s). As the staff manager, he/she will coordinate the activities of office staff, including organizing and monitoring department work. The ideal candidate will have a history of working in high pace environments, exceptional customer service skills demonstrated success in project management and process efficiency. In addition to the experience noted, a Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of managerial experience is required, specific to people leadership and project management.

     

  • Accounting Manager

    The Accounting Manager oversees all compliance with regulatory authorities and recognition for contracts and grants. S/he reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director and Grand Tamiochus (National Treasurer) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget preparation and management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and financial reporting. Additionally, the Accounting Manager works with the International Grand Basileus (International President) and Grand Tamiochus in developing and monitoring the sorority's operational and conference budgets. S/he partners with the senior leadership and provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. As the Accounting Manager, s/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace. The ideal candidate will have a history progressive financial leadership, with a focus on financial reporting, process controls and account reconciliation.  In addition to the experience noted, the candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting or finance with 3-5 years of relative experience. CPA designation is a plus.

     

  • Master Data Specialist

    The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for entering, maintaining and ensuring the integrity of the organization's membership and affiliate records and systems integral to the headquarters operations. This role will report directly to the Deputy Executive Director. This individual will maintain the accuracy of mailing lists, membership credentials and remittance records. Periodic reporting will be required weekly, monthly and annually to manage key performance indicators for remittance trends, discount programs, membership categories, etc. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of MS Office, exceptional customer and communication skills, problem solving skills, adaptability to an evolving environment, and ability to compile and analyze data with accuracy. In addition to the experience noted, an Associate Degree with 2-4 years of relevant work experience is required.

     

  • VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

     

  • Boule Office Support (May - August), minimum of 5 consecutive days.

    The volunteer(s) will provide ICHQ support for a minimum of five consecutive days to prepare and allow for Boule preparation or execution. As a volunteer, this role will assist the staff with communication, mailing of materials, shipping and handling, phone support, data entry, membership research and customer service in preparation for, during and/or after the Boule. The ideal candidate should be a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. due to the sensitive nature of the work involved. Based on performance and length of assistance, a member may be provided a nominal stipend for assistance.
