Washington, D.C. 11/1/22 – November 12, 2022 marks 100 years of service, scholarship, and sisterhood for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.

In celebration of this milestone, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. members will be hosting events across the country to mark the occasion. Events include service projects, community engagement as well as some invite-only events.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. was founded at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana by seven young educators and now has over 500 chapters in the United States, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, Ghana, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. is a part of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, affectionately known as the Divine Nine.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has partnerships with USA Swimming, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Own Your Vote, and other partnerships that align with the organization’s motto, “Greater Service, Greater Progress.”
