Becoming a Licensed Vendor 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a licensed vendor for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. We look forward to the value you will bring to our organization's product marketplace. Our license vendor program is overseen by the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC).  Our licensing program consists of three vendor tiers:

Tier 1 - Vendors that are National Partners and Collaborators 

Tier 2 - Vendors that sell annually over $10,000

Tier 3 - Vendors that sell up to $10,000 annually

We review and process NEW applications once a year during a 2-3 month period. Licenses are valid for one fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Licenses must renew their licenses annually, to remain an active licensee. 

Please see the upcoming windows to apply:

• To become an FY25 (2024-2025)  licensed vendor - Apply from July 1-September 1, 2024
• To become an FY26 (2025-2026)  licensed vendor - Apply from January 1- March 30, 2025
• To become an FY27 (2026-2027)  licensed vendor - Apply from January 1- March 30, 2026
• To become an FY28 (2027-2028)  licensed vendor - Apply from January 1- March 30, 2027

To apply, you must first register by going to:  https://login.directlicensinghub.com/licensee-registration. Upon acceptance into the program, you will need to provide payment and proof of insurance.

Please note the following ABOUT our Licensed Vendor Program:

 

• New vendors will automatically be assigned Tier 3 status for the first licensee year. 
• Applications submitted will only be reviewed during the application windows posted.  
• Tier 1 partner vendor applications may be considered at any time during the fiscal year.
• Once your initial license has been approved, the license renewal period is from May 1- June 30 annually. 
• Skipping annual renewals may result in ineligibility to participate in In-Person Conferences, Events, and Opportunities.
• Licensees are required to adhere to our brand guidelines  for the use of our trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, and other intellectual property.
• Licensees must submit mockups of all licensed products in the CLC system for artwork review before launch.
  

Annual License Fees and Eligibility 

* Royalties depend on project scope and will be pre-established with the vendor for each project.

** Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc. reserves the right to consider Tier 3 vendors for opportunities, based on their compliance record and good standing with CLC.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is proud of its trademarks, trade dress, copyrights and other intellectual property and protects, licenses and enforces these rights.  Our members, affiliates, supporters, vendors and partners play an important role in elevating, promoting and proudly displaying our brand and we are grateful for the support and commitment to “Greater Service, Greater Progress.” In this section you will find resources related to the proper use of our intellectual property,  the process for reporting infringers, and the process for seeking permissions. 

Brand Guidelines and Standards: 

This document contains the standards and guidelines for all members of Sigma Gamma Rho, affiliates, partners, and approved vendors who are entitled to use its trademarks and other branding elements. These standards regulate the use of Sigma’s trademarks, service marks, trade dress, trade names, and likeness on approved products, use for promotion of the organization, its programming, and its members. Lastly, the standards form the basis for the evaluation and approval by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. of all uses of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. brand and intellectual property.

Report Infringers:  If you find a vendor that you believe does not have a license, please report it to us. Click here to report.

Permission Requests:  If you are an organization seeking permission to use Sigma Gamma Rho’s trademarks, trademark dress, copyrights or other intellectual property, please submit a request through our  HELP CENTER .  Select " OPERATIONS - LICENSING"  from the how can we direct your request menu,  enter the details of your request, and your request will be reviewed.
