We are Sigma Strong

Stories and information about COVID-19 are trending on social media, with daily press conferences, updates on the nightly news, talk shows and in homes around the country. The media’s minute-by-minute breaking news alerts is recreating a thirst for accurate information and are fueling fears of catching or spreading the virus, unemployment, financial ruin, and worst. Please be vigilant and make yourself aware of the updates using credible sources. The Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization are the best source for updates and guidelines for what to do. The White House is issuing alerts and announcing support of our effected populations daily.

To help our members navigate this new normal, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s board of directors leveraged the expertise of our members and other professionals to provide needed support during this time of uncertainty. March 23, the Sorority announced the launch of a six-part webinar series to support members and their families with topics meant to bring resources, tips and peace of mind. Each 45-minute webinar is led by international president Deborah Catchings-Smith and includes a question and answer session.
